237 Research - Calling on coleman 237 owners

Hi I am doing some research on Coleman 237 lanterns
after finding out the variations of the lantern.
I want to know when the variations were made
so please dig out your 237's match them to the number in the table below and give me a date of manufacture.
of course ver#1 is a bit problematic

I have two.

3 is dated 12 61 No country stamp on the tank but is does have made in USA on the control wheel.

8 dated 3 48.

Lantern arrived today, made in Canada, date 8 53, first type vent. I haven't a clue what you mean with Sea foam though. It only says "237", no A or B on it. It is in a rather sorry state (it went cheap ) so it'll take some time (which I haven't at the mo) to repair things.

Both style 3 with no country but marked "Made in the United States of America" on the control valve.

First post. Been lurking too long...it's a pleasure to contribute.

I've got 2 237s both with first style vent, both undated, both nickle plated; one from the fifties because of the Sunrise logo on the side; one probably from the sixties because it has a decal, don't think its marked "Made in the USA"... other than that no other info...

 

My 237A is a 10-72 and is a #2 style

 

I have a number #5 dated 2-54 with the second style vent.

 

my 237 is 1st type vent with nickel font dated 5 52
