    Hi everyone,

I recently acquired this instrument marked “ICA Aktiengesellschaft Dresden” and I’m trying to identify exactly what it is and what it was used for.

It could be a projection lamp.

Does anyone recognize this instrument or know its original function?

Any information, catalog references, or similar examples would be greatly appreciated.

    Thanks

    Hi,

What you have is a stand for something probably connected to a projection light. ICA was a producer of many types of projection lighting,
incandescent gas lighting, limelight/chalk lighting, acetylen lighting and several types types of electric lighting devices for projection light.
    Ica projectors in 1913

ICA also made a pressure alcohol projection light lamp seen down below. I have a similar alcohol device and in my post here ......
Ca. 1910 Alcohol projector lamp | Classic Pressure Lamps & Heaters ....I have the ICA light as a refererence.
