Here is a Kamplite LR L-2 by AGM. I do not have date information. Burns leaded or white gas.

All KampLite lamps are about 1955 to 1960. It was a short lived brand used by King Seeley-AGM until The King Seeley-Thermos merger in 1960. ::Neil::

    Neil, close.
I'm new to the forum, but have spent the last year researching AGM post WWII.
This lantern dates to 1949-1950. It looks fantastic, by the way!

AGM started the Kamplite brand in about 1949 (possibly late '48).
I have Kamplite badges printed on the backs of AGM model badges when they rebranded. They simply used the existing stock.

Kamplite dating info. (Knob shape can also be used to identify the JC Higgins brand):

    Kamplite Burgundy - 1949-1953.
    Kamplite Red and Black -
    Early pump: 1953-1955.
    Simplified pump knob, round: 1955.
Simplified pump knob, hex: 1956 on.
Kamplite: Copper and White - (possibly late 1959) 1960-1961.

    Thermos:
    Hex pump: 1961-1962.
    Combined filler and pump: 1963-1971.

Collar info can be useful, too.
    AGM up to 1950.
AGM Div. of Queen Stove: 1950-1957.
Queen Products Div. of King-Seeley: 1957-1960/61.
    King/Seeley/Thermos: 1961 on.

Between the collars and colors, you can usually nail down to within a two year window.

When I get a chance, I'll create a topic on dating with photos.
