Hello again, I have just cleaned up my Tilley tl10 and got it running, I have the clear glass globe and was thinking about making my own stained glass lampshade for it.

Could anyone send me a picture showing how/where a lampshade fits on to the gallery?

Any help/advice would as always be appreciated.... :)

Thanks jeff, I was thinking of how the fabric ones sit on the gallery as I was going to make a stained glass shade which will need a metal bracket to support it and not sure what to use.

Hi, You will obviously have to have a top ring, so what about the idea of 3 "L" shaped brackets, with the legs of the "L" facing inwards, soldered to the top ring. The shade will then just sit on the top of the gallery. Just an idea. If you do succeed make sure to show us the result. Best of luck with the project. Steve.
