Tony, if it's all steel I'd look toward a 220B or 220BX, something produced in the 40s. Some of the war time stuff was all steel. Ask on CCF and you'll get a quick answer.
@Reese Williams The burner is all brass… It was on a well used 9/38 Coleman 228B, but does match the burners of any other 228 or 220 from that period, as far as I can see. Of course it could well have been a replacement part. There are no patent stampings on the burner air tube. Cheers Tony
