you can buy a wall lamp fuel pipe off ebay and use the fittings off that
It's a diddy one, can you put a can of coke next to it for size comparison

The fuel pipe should have the deep socket really, for that tank....
Is it a steel or brass tank, on the early tanks 'wartime' ones that brass plaque was present, advising not to over pump..etc
