Found the filler cap over at CCS on A Radius 22 stove. Mystery solved.
After looking in the gallery I found that the missing holes in the vent, no fuel level gauge and hole through the vent nut are typical features on...
It only has half of the ventilation holes in the vent, it does not have a fuel gauge and it has a filler cap which I have not seen on another...
I painted the tank which has the aeroplane brand name on it which is now difficult to see. There was nothing visible on the tag when I purchased it.

The Asian Col-Max has an all brass fount.
Put a few small steel nuts or ball bearings and some paraffin into the fount and shake it until your arms hurt and cramp. Rinse out afterwards...

It looks good. All three of my February 1948 237 Empire lanterns have the dark green vent and pressed brass pump cap.
It needs more fuel.

Those are good looking lanterns. They are good lanterns and I will post my 249 soon which I found late last year.
