Thanks for the welcome. For the record, the serial number on the bottom of the tank is 12570A, which I believe means it was stamped in December 1957.
..It's a fancy-grilled Tilley RH57 that I picked up at an antique store. It's in good condition and just needs a bit of cleaning. Had a problem...
