Your first 2 pictures look to be pricker assemblies for hollow wire fixtures, last picture looks like a Coleman Slant valve.
I went to a bicycle shop and bought a hand pump for the European style tubes. Works well with a flexible rubber hose.
Not really.
I like using the Rapid torch
Hadn't run either of these for a couple of years. Made new pips for the 829, a new Superior petromax mantle and its a ripper.[ATTACH]
Nice lantern, I have this one in my collection now. It's on the left next to a 829 500cp. [ATTACH]
Looking like a ripper!
Looks good, does it say Coleman on the bottom?
She's a fine example Toby.
Wonderful looking lamp!
Very rare heater you have there. I would love to own one someday. Thanks for sharing!
Here's a 242 I recently acquired. It's dated 2-2. Trust me the 2 is on the right.1932 was the first year Coleman made a single mantle lantern....
Nice one Toby.
This little one one came in a lot of 60+ lanterns. At least there was something to make it worth it.[ATTACH] [ATTACH] [ATTACH] [ATTACH]
Wow! Nice display.
Very unique lamp. have you had it lit yet?
Great information. Not a bad idea to reread this from time to time so we don't become complacent.
Very nice, don't see those everyday!
Nice lantern, I have one of the heaters.
