Hi all I have this old radiant heater that I have had since I was a kid (more than 50 years ago). I took it down from its storage place in the rafters of my garage. From what Mike at OldColemanparts told me it is a rather rare 1928 heater made by the Coleman Lamp and Stove Co. Wichita Kansas. I am attaching a few photos and if anyone can enlighten me about the heater I would appreciate it. I have only washed the years of dust from it, nothing else has been done to it. Thanks Murray
Welcome aboard Murray! What you have there is a Coleman Hot Beam Heater, it was also known as the number 3 and it was only made in 1928, so it's a scarce heater and in my opinion it deserves to be restored. There is some paperwork for it and that is shown in the reference library, but that is only open to subscribers, Jeff.
Thanks Jeff I did subscribe to the forum and visited the reference library but was unable to find information on the Colemen heater. I am not too familiar with getting around the site yet so may need a nudge in the right direction. Murray
Hello Murray, are you still out there? I know this thread is very very old, but hopefully you can get this somehow...
