This is the two mantle variant of the "Art Deco" lanterns. It has a preheater cup to enable it to burn gasoline or kerosene. The fount is crack free. That's amazing for an AGM. The globe is the original Macbeth Thermo. The chrome finish on this is in very good condition.

Or is there the AGM stress crack problem?

Nice to see one of these in such good condition. They are not 1940s though. This one and the smaller single mantle version 3708 were introdced in 1937 and were probably only made for two years or less. ::Neil::

    Hi Neil,
LOL! I used your AGM spreadsheet as the basis for the "1940ish" date description.

Karli, This has no stress cracks. Clean as can be inside too. It is ready to burn. That occasion is going to be an up and coming gathering at the end of this month. I obtained this for a good friend that has the 3708 in both the AGM and Sunflame models. Now he will have the set.
