237 Canadian A/38, 1st quarter and year of production. I found this in India, the pump tube had been cut out and replaced with a Primus Pump Tube and Check Valve. The bottom half of the original Coleman pump tube is still rolling around inside the fount. 20210615_213432.jpg 20210615_213438.jpg 20210615_213458.jpg 20210615_213545.jpg 20210615_213612.jpg 20210615_213701.jpg

The seafoam green enamel and nickel plating are still looking great for such an old lantern.
This must have been one of the first Coleman 237s ever made.
I'm quite surprised on what happened to the pump for a lantern that doesn't appear like it had been used that much over the years.
The filler cap looks rather different. It isn't original to this lantern too?

That was one I was using for testing. It has an original 3 piece. The pump was a botch job. I replaced the pump shaft with an original Coleman and had to fit a 427 pump cup due to the narrower diameter of the Primus pump tube.
