Two Questions Can Coleman fuel be used in this lamp? If not, what is the correct fuel? Are lighting instructions available for this lamp? I primarily collect hurricane, and Aladdin glass lamps, but I have used Coleman lanterns for many years, camping, hunting and fishing. I started my lantern collection with the AGM 58, and it all possible, I want to get it back in good working condition, as I do all my oil lamps. I really appreciate any info you can share with me. Respectfully, MM
AGM 58 is a gasoline Ready-Lite lantern which has a match lighting generator so will light and operate in the same way as a Coleman Quick-Lite. Coleman Fuel or any similar naphtha fuel would be correct. ::Neil::
Coleman fuel/camp fuel etc. I'm thinking torch light(preheat genny) with a torch or couple matches, be prepared for flare up if valve opened more than a second. Duane
