Hello again! I find this lamp in a depths of father's basement What type of lampshade should fit for this lamp? And how I should lock lampshade? I tried to find something about, but I do not know German or French. In this forum I saw similar topic in the Lamp Reference Gallery but it did not answer my questions well. Aida is a German brand, but your lamp is one which i do not recall seeing before, it appears to use paraffin/kerosene for fuel and it's a great find!

Hello Jakub, that is really a great find, and surely operated with kerosene/paraffin. IMO the shade should be fixed similar to those at older Coleman table lamps. The spring sheets at the removeable cap should clip on and prevent the shade from slipping down. That's all. Good luck for the restoration, Martin K.
That is a very rare lamp. I have seen a very few Aida 213 lamps but never with that fount. I have never seen any paper illustrating the lamp and I don't know anyone who has one with a glass so we don't know exactly what it shoud look like. I have never had one to examine either so I can't comment on the mechanism. Just dismantle it carefully and take plenty opf photographs so you know where everything fits. Clean and make sure the tank holds pressure and it should run. ::Neil::
