Akron 120G

    a picture of another akron i have in my huge collection;not sure of the model number as to many to keep tract of but it has the krackle finish and lites very nice

    It's a model 120G Art Lamp. I think these date from around 1929 to 1933. It is not listed in 1927 or the 1933 main catalogue but is shown in this 1929 flyer and in a 1933 price list. I have not checked but I also think it was offered in either a Sears or Mongomery Wards catalogue. ::Neil::

    thanks neil ;i wasnt sure as i have so many of the akron lamps plus lanterns i forget the models plus the irons as well i have ;i should list them on a pad so in the future i will know;i have a 140-G for sure plus a few 103s and a 1944 military lantern;the others im not sure ;they are called the beast and after repairing them how well that is so true;but they are neat also ;thanks; dean
