Here’s my Akron 133 that I finally got finished with. The family got it for me as a Christmas gift back in 2018.
Original Insta-Glow generator was filled with a tar like substance that wouldn’t budge. The needle on the rod was broke off. Original mica chimney was missing.

Other than those three issues, the rest of the lantern had been handled gently and stored nicely. All the nickel shined up decently. The original pump cup is still functional.

I bought a complete NOS generator with pricker. The new replacement mica chimney was purchased from Rob Butts.

I’m thrilled to have this one back to lighting the night up again!! E5C1AEDE-F970-4A77-BDF9-70CAA687D284.jpeg 85E06D54-B2E5-447E-9D4F-920FED886301.jpeg 4A9C3FB3-1616-4444-9C6F-3562F02C719B.jpeg CC242051-C7A6-44F5-83DA-FE22942CAD32.jpeg
