    Hi,

Well something has shown up to resolve the 12A / 14A dilemma.

Part of a 1938 Aladdin Industries Brochure.

As can be seen the 12A is the one with the Lever for cleaning the Jet.

.... or is it a case of any picture will do.

I have seen a lot of 12A's and they are not the one pictured.

    Maybe it's not QED

That is the lever operated pricker Radius used on model 119 and possibly a few other models. ::Neil::

Not 119. Those used a regular control wheel.
But 116 and 118 had a lever operated needle like this.
And I have actually also seen a 110 using it.

Nice try Collin, but I think it is a case of any picture will do. Actually I havn't seen any Aladdin tank marked 14A and seen both types with the tank marked 12A. Maybe some other paper will turn up someday.

Yes got my numbers wrong again. Quite right and I should know because I have a 118 like that. Slap my wrist. ::Neil::

We all must be getting old

    Aladdin 14A

I guess it will never be solved. Too many different variations out there.
