Folks, have what appears to be a brass font on my Aladdin 1A: My issue is the pump tube is leaking where it joins with font. Can this be repaired by applying heat, removing pump tube, cleaning spotlessly and then re-soldering (solder on account it needs strength not resistance to excessive heat?) If possible, any tips and/or tricks gladly accepted. Cheers John
You could try heating the area in situ and see if the solder runs & reseals. Otherwise, as you describe above. Cheers Tony
