Every now and again there are posts in the open forum about blowlamps. No doubt that for now it is the right place for them. They turn up on the Stoves site but properly I feel they do belong here as examples of pressure lamps. Surely no-one can doubt that? I have a couple which I would like to get going again. They seem to need strange pump leather diameters c/w lamps and stoves. Mine are all dry/split/NBG for various reasons. Blowlamp pump tube diameters are an area of interest. I visited the Fettlebox for guidance during their recent holidays. Now the site is back I can find a sub-heading for blowlamp parts but it is a work in progress. There is nothing to order yet. We have quite a few old threads on here about blowlamps and I was just wondering if the open forum (or otherwise) could somehow manage to cover blowlamps rather better. The info it would accumulate would answer my questions and no doubt it would help Ross to know what is needed at the Fettlebox. If anyone knows about a ~17mm might be 11/16" pump washer for a Monitor blowlamp that would be most interesting too. 3/4" looks like it will be too big.
