Hi, I'm a farmer with an old shed. Found these lamps and wanting them to find a good home (this is not an auction). First thing to do is identify them, please help. Thanks, Neil
The first and last are Tilley PL53 - presumably with steel (and not brass) tanks which puts them around war period. Wrong glass though. The second from left is a Tilley X246 from the 1950's and the third from left is not a Tilley nor a pressure lamp. Someone else may know more. Don't give up the farming.....
So nothing to retire on then. Shame. The first one the glass is in 2 parts (on purpose). there's a prominent member of the forum close to me, so they're being offered them for parts etc. The OL50 can stay here though. Thanks
The globe at the bottom is the correct one for the lamp. It should be held in place by a wire cage that is not present. The glass at the top is for a hurricane lamp of some sort.
