    Quick question,
    How many retaining clips are these supposed to have?
    The one I have just received has just two.

    Mine has two clips positioned at 10 to 2. Hope this helps.

    The bottom part pf the shield clips into two lugs on the lower curve of the oval Bialaddin badge, with two other fixing points as Jeremy says - thus three fixing points in total. Unfortunately, the lugs on the badge, being light alloy, break off sometimes...
