Is there a tool i can buy that is thin and strong enough to be able to push the snapped tips of cleaning needles back through the jets as i have a few now that could do with unblocking.
Not sure about a tool other than a new pricker pressing it into the vaporiser. I would try getting it red hot wi a blowtorch and quench a few times in cold water to try clear it first. Big problem is making the hole Jet hole larger than its not going to burn right Pete
I usually heat and quench as Pete Sav suggested. But there is this option (I haven't tried it) Dissolving steel without damaging brass Tilley 246 Blocked Pick-up Tube
Thanks gents, i used to clean all my vaporisers by heating and quenching but never thought to try it on the ones where the tips had broken off, i have heard of collectors making their own needles to use but knowing my luck i'd snap one off trying to remove the broken piece
You could grind a very sharp point on some 0.8mm wire maybe stainless steel or piano wire and try to shove it back into the vaporiser Remember the hole is only 6 or 7 thousands of a inch tho any bigger and will get a sooty burn. Pete
Thanks @Twoberth I have just bought these 25x LARGE set Beading Needles with eye bead twisted jewellery tools parts wire | eBay
