That's an unusual one. No idea about who's the manufacturer. Maybe you can figure out what's on the pump knob. Something's casted on.
Or a Franken(blow)lamp, perhaps - possibly some steampunk-type abomination. Having said that, it does seem to have an even patination so maybe it's correct. Basically - I haven't a clue...
@David Shouksmith It doesn't look like a steampunkt stuff to me. Most steampunkt-oriented guys would incorporate some kind of 'modernity' in an otherwise fine piece that usually transforms it into something that no known manufacturer would have ever made on a practical sense. And that's in the name of 'Art'. What's shown in the picture is obviously a blowlamp. Far as I know, Steampunkt guys don't convert anything into some sort of 'lowly', practical equipment as a blowlamp.
Talking about Steampunkts, I could have sworn that I've caught a glimpse a while back, of a fancy-looking fragrance burner of sort with some multi-coloured lamp bulbs hanging from the ceiling of the main hall in a high-end vaping centre located in a more affluent area of town. Couldn't remember exactly which town or in which country. Instincts told me that the fancy burner used to be a Tilley OM53 or something similar.
Hasve a look here Home and email BTCA@cox.net The vintage Blow Torch book I have by these guys is a first edition dated 2007 and I would assume they will know more now so it would probably be worth contacting them. ::Neil::
