My recent flea market find is this blow lamp not much bigger then a table style cigarette lighter. My question is about the leather pump cup. It has what looks like a dried out leather and it’s hard to the point my finger nail can’t make a mark. Is this the leather or is it some part that backs up the leather?
I doubt it’s anything but leather gone hard. To me it looks like a standard brass type backing fitting, then the leather cup. Sometimes a small washer inside the cup and then the nut. Remove the nut and pry the parts off. Clearly the cup is ineffective. Haven’t seen that brand but Birmingham made so should restore very nicely. Good luck.
