Very true but some people are like magpies David. Yes Steve, back to the thread. I arrived between 8.30 and 9.00 in the evening and although it wasn't raining it was a bit mushy under foot. Next bonfire night you'll have to bring the tent and stop over for the weekend. Being so close to the pub, you could easily get completely blotto before stumbling into bed.

Well the three musketeers met up at the Fleece
a diabolical night with the wind and rain, took the edge off it really.
Anyway I enjoyed meeting up with Mick&Pete

Calm down, it's not like they're stoves or anything. ;)

Looks like a good event. Interesting to see another of those big tank BR lanterns. Makes two I know of now. ::Neil::

Yes, I thought initially you might have transferred your example to Mick's collection, but then I spotted that the 'leg-bending' was different on the two lanterns...

Yes I find the game amusing at times. For some 40 odd years I know nothing of that one and have never seen one. Then one turns up and I think it is real and it takes me three years to wheedle it out of Mike and decide it is for real. Then Mick has to go find one as well. Whatever Mick is on wants bottling and I want some. ::Neil::
