A picker friend found this for me. I have a real weakness for the early Canadian B's with their punched out COLEMAN collar. Dated 7 31 and mostly in good shape. It appears that someone at some point in time swapped out the cage. Was told it was probably a Quicklite cage of some sort. I think I have a spare cage laying around someplace. Rest of the lantern in not too bad of shape and the remaining parts are correct what with the patent date on the air tube. Came with a nice winged fuel cap which is often missing and pricey to replace. Vent is in decent shape for an old timer. Best part is the fount which is as solid as solid can be. Should take a shine nicely. This should be a pretty straight forward fettle but seems as soon as I say that things usually go sideways. I guess we'll see. lol

I don't collect Canadian Coleman lanterns but I can understand why you favor them.:D/ The Wichita Coleman 220/228B model is my favorite.=P~ I have quite a few of them from various years. These are well made examples and really stand out in my opinion.:D
This will be one fine restoration project and would really like to see it when you finish!
