I have tons of 335 colemans, globes, some 214’s,bialladin and vaperlux 300,305 and others any bits you need just shout I gotta clear some spacelol
Rob, I am in need of a 214 globe. I can't seem to find any suppliers here in Australia! But then again, am new to this and as fate would have it have started with a 214
Hi John, The 214 takes the same size globe as a 335, 282, 288, 321, 335 and quite a few others. I'm not sure if this is available where you live but I'm sure some of the members may be able to help. If all else fails you can order a new glass globe for your 214 from American Mantle. Globes Cheers, Norman
You can also use the globes of the Petromax clones on the 214 and its cousins. It is a standard size and is probably the most widely available lantern globe in the world.
@JohnL They are available in Australia on the Bay of Evil (not all the time). I might have a spare, but can’t look until Friday. Tony
Team, responses overwhelming and I'm chuffed about the responsiveness and your kindness. Aim is to get the relatively new 214 (Sep '90) fired up before I tackle grandpops Aladdin 1A he used on the railways in Cue mid fifties. @phaedrus42 I don't even know what a Petromax is let alone it's clones Very new to this but will store this information. @Tony Press Thanks muchly! Had a look but none on evilbay at the moment. Have noticed your posts and fact you are a local so sure hope not last time we will chat! @Norman Cheers for the link and the equivalents, definitely stored in the knowledge base! I must be doing something wrong because I searched extensively and American Mantle did not come up? Again great info. @Rob flint I'll message you.
@JohnL Welcome from Toowoomba Queensland. Lots of friendly help and advice on this forum, it’s great. Looking forward to your future posts. Cheers Pete
Hi John, I forgot to add oldcolemanparts to what you can look at for glass and replacement parts. www.oldcolemanparts.com Here are a couple of glass globes he does offer. He does offer the glass globe you need in the sportsman edition and a plain clear glass. Mike at oldcolemanparts does offer international shipping. Mike also offers Amber and Frosted glass globes. OldColemanParts.com :: Globes :: Globe 288 Sportsman Clear OldColemanParts.com :: Globes :: Globe 288 White Letter USA I hope this helps out a bit. Cheers, Norman
Hi Folks I tried these out for my Coleman 335, eBay item number: 132774307158 The colouring is removed easily with methylated spirit and the glass is good and robust. @Rob flint are you flin-emm on eBay? Regards Jeremy
