Hi can someone please tell me what is more sort after out the Coleman copper filter funnel made in Canada vs USA. I recently bought a new unused Coleman Copper Filter Funnel with spare filter, in the box $220au made in Canada. What is the more sort after filter or the rarer one out the Copper USA vs Canada Copper Filter Funnel. Second question, whats more rarer then the Coleman copper Filter Funnel ? Or do they come in different sizes. I paid this ludicrous price as its mint in the box, you dont see many in Australia like this. Regards Darren
@Kiwiboy00 Your question is both odd and unanswerable. More desirable for whom? A collector? Of Canadian Coleman gear? Or American Coleman gear? Coleman gear in the Americas or the antipodes? Does it have history? When was it made? All or nothing is desirable. It depends on the context. Anyway, if you really paid AUD$220 for that it’s way, way above what I would fork out. I’ve got an NIB Coleman funnel you can buy for much less than $220... Cheers Tony
First off thank you for replying, yes i paid total $220.00 for the filter. Apart from USA vs Canada made there must be one thats more rarer then the other or harder to come by. Second i want to collect the entire set of Coleman filter funnels, so that’s why I was asking apart from the copper filter funnel what would be older and more sought-after. Also there must be more rarer or sought-after copper one vs usa & Canada one. My question maybe odd but every question is answerable. Ps- If anyone has a collection of them love to see few photos. @Kiwiboy00 Have you trawled the Reference Gallery here and at CCS? I notice you’re not a subscriber. Having access to all of the Reference Libraries would help your research. In addition, you could also trawl through Coleman Collectors Forum and the many Coleman publications available through the US-based Coleman organisations. There are quite a few Coleman funnels...
