Coleman plated these in gold or silver for presentations to people. I think some are engraved with details like recipient name and dates etc. They pop up every so often on eBay. Mike.

Just checking if this is really a 282 since I thought they were single mantle lanterns. Is it that the presentation ones were changed to a two mantle lantern?
