I got my first Coleman table lamp recently. It is model 118, I think. I did not find any data code, unfortunately. I put the new rubber ring in the fuel cap. The lamp works nicely now. The wooden handle does not exist yet, I'll add it after a time. The interesting thing is generator. It looks like the generator is not original: it has no cleaning needle, but it has a loop. By the way, what is the right position of generators with loop? Should the loop be between the mantles (as it could be found on my photos), or it should be in opposite position? I found different variants on internet photos.
A fine restoration project and the vapouriser/generator is a Coleman Q99 and they were for earlier Coleman lamps and lanterns such as the CQ table lamp and the link below shows one fitted to my old Coleman lantern. The way which you have the vapouriser/generator fitted is fine as the heat from the mantles keeps it hot and the fuel vapourised, it's a self generating system. 1925 Coleman L-327
Yes it should be a T88 generator - quite obsolete now, however this thread : Coleman slant generator should help !
