    Freshly unpacked :-)

This to me previously unknown Italian cord and bulb, I could now make and receive.

Shade diameter = 46 cm (868/836 Petromax has about 39 cm)

Height from bottom of screen up to the hanging loop = 55 cm

    The pump is missing! 1299968025-DSCN2185_-_Kopie.JPG 1299968047-DSCN2182_-_Kopie.JPG 1299968067-DSCN2181_-_Kopie.JPG 1299968087-DSCN2179_-_Kopie.JPG

    Hallo Michael,

You got yourself a big, but worthy project there.
Do I see a rusted (steel) jet or nipple?
Not surprising the Italians made these lamps for themselves at one point, and it is a welcome variation on a mostly german product.
"Hals und Beinbruch" mit dieser Lampe!

    Regards, Mike

Those steel nipples can be rescued. It probably won't work right with rust at the jet but if you carefully grind down the tip face untill you get a shiny flat face you will likely find it will work well. I have done this on a couple of Kitson lamps with good results. ::Neil::
