    Hello all,

I have an English 242B. It came with a “Made in England” globe, but I am certain it was produced much later than the lantern. I would like to find the correct globe for this lantern, but I am aware that there are a couple different variations. Apparently one is sandblasted and the other is painted. For all I know they are interchangeable, but I am not sure. The “Coleman Book” and Terry Marsh’s website do not seem to feature these lanterns. It appears that this forum has quite a few members from the UK, so I thought I would give you all a try.

    Thanks for any information,
    Jay

What year is your 242B ? I am not an expert but there are 242Bs sporting the same globe in the reference section.
    242 & 246 letter variants, 2243
