My credit card seems to be having a run of bad luck since I moved to our retirement place here in PA. It was compromised a year ago, and again today. Needless to say, it started a chain reaction of financial problems that took most of the day to resolve. I have only one credit card, so there was no option (or time) to switch my payments to an alternate card.

    :rage:

Live in the new age I suppose. I really can't enjoy the life that I'm accustomed to with only cash or checks, so I guess it's just the cost of doing business.

I must say that everyone, including Ebay and PayPal were good sports about it; they gave me points for calling them right away, and time to get things sorted out.

That stinks Al. I've had it happen twice.

Credit card company was great about
    fixing it.

A downside of our cyber age!

I had credit card info gleaned some how a couple years ago. I didn't have to pay anything, luckily I checked my account online and found one purchase and another pending within a day. I had to file a Sheriff's report and send that with a simple form to the card company.

I didn't have to pay, but it caused a chain reaction since a lot of bills were due the next day, and they automatically cycled through that card.
