I found the same on other things. Schrader valves bought on German ebay cheaper than on UK ebay - from the same seller...
Not curious at all. Simply two different sellers asking what they think they can get away with in their respective countries - a point I was trying to get across to another member recently. It's NOT as if the two eBays were colluding and setting different prices for their own customers. Two different sellers on eBay UK are just as likely to set different BIN or starting prices for exactly the same item. Yer pays yer money...
Honestly the prices have gone mad, a couple of years back I got a brand new, boxed Sea Anchor 500cp delivered for £20 all in from eBay.
Hi guys ... well this has had a little run ...not that I am future intending to acquire one of these Chinee beauties... metals ,, look at those small motorcycles they send over ... metal .. rusty after six months .. young 'uns go for em .. cheap ... and well I agree with all said ... shop around but who would fork out 70 - 90 quid for the pleasure .... stay safe
I have seen some „Coleman Seasons“ from Japan on eBay for… 1 000 USD. Of course, they are nice and limited edition, but the price is insane. Or do they really have such value?
From a total newbie.........I just bought that EXACT same lantern out of excitement, and yet I knew better having read some posts about the Sea Anchor brand. $74 including shipping and it just left Shanghai today (Monday 5th) and delivery is guaranteed by the 28th......................of July. In the meantime, I'll keep an eye out for a little better product.
The new Sea Anchor I bought was almost a kit, a bit like the part baked bread you can buy - you have to finish it off yourself. They're not the best quality by any means but once you've set them up, de-burred the razor sharp edges and tweaked everything they work pretty well.
Thanks for your encouraging reply Colin. I really wasn't sure what I was getting myself into, but it sounds like I can make a go of it with some work.
