    Hello,
I came across this really cool looking lime green cased shade. I don’t see anything like it in the Coleman shade book. Just wondering if anyone recognizes it as being one found on any other brand of GPA lamp. Thanks!

It's really pretty, whatever it was made for.

In my opinion, it's either for a wick lamp or an electric lamp.

Think Jeff might be correct, it possibly was made for a wick lamp (or maybe an electric one). It's an attractive shade.

Thanks all. I have since seen the shade in person and it is only 8 3/4” in diameter. Too small for GPA. I made a trade for it anyway and am hoping to use it on a wickie. Any options on weather of not is should work good on a Rayo or Aladdin?
    Thanks!

This would look good on an Aladdin lamp. Just my two cents worth...

Ditto George, it’s a very attractive shade - and my favourite colour.

Not a fan of the colour but I think this ornate shade could work with the right wick lamp, possibly a brass lamp. Love to see a picture when you sort it out.

Original Aladdin shades are 9 3/4" for the 10" gallery

If I’m not mistaken 10” is the standard for GPA lamps as well. Correct? My understanding is that smaller shades will crack due to the heat they put off. Will there be too much heat for a shade on an Aladdin going below the standard size?

An Aladdin will probably be to hot for that shade, but a flat wick lamp might be okay.
