A dismal rainy day and was going through some of my camping photos from the the Turon River near Sofala. Listening to Radio New Zealand on a Sony ICF SW11 powered by a Lufo thermocouple lantern. Coleman 249 Scout in attendance. Modified the Lufo so its power output could run other devices such as the Sony radio. Lit the campfire with traditional flint and steel Collecting some more punkwood from a rotted log A view of the tranquil Turon River This is a really pleasant camping area and was the first tryout of the Lufo thermocouple lantern with the Sony shortwave radio. Both worked excellently and now will be a regular feature of my campsites. Light and entertainment all at the same time.
