I’ve been meaning to get out into the woods with my pressure lamp for some time now, and finally had chance to do it tonight. Walking with a lantern is lovely, and very different to walking with a torch. Rather than only being able to see the ground in front of you illuminated by a narrow torch beam, you can see all around you, and several feet in front of you, making it much easier to walk on uneven terrain. The light is softer than torch light too, so my night vision wasn’t as upset. Great fun!
I hope to repeat the exercise if I ever get a parabolic reflector!!

If i see correct, its a china clone.
    Approx 3,5kg at full tank
    Ceetainly bright.
A bit heavy for a walk.

I rather use 250-300cp lanterns for night walks.
Px250 or Coleman 295 powerhouse or Coleman 200A.

Yes, it’s an Anchor 909. Certainly a bit on the heavy side, but bright enough for me!

Yes, a lantern is much better than a torch when walking in rough terrain

Not sure I'd be walking around at night over there, I've seen the movie " An American werewolf in London"

Ha! Yes, it’s definitely quite a creepy place at night. It’d be hard to run away carrying this lantern…..
