    Ahem, remind us how many VL1s you had yourself, at one time, Mick. :whistle: Although no, don't bother, I seem to recall something at the top of page 83 of Jim Dick's Tilley book... ;) :lol:

    Being a collector rather than a trader, I just go to work to earn money - most days, it seems a lot less bother. Having said that, I might resort to polishing a few lanterns when I retire in 2 years, three weeks and six days, not that I'm counting you understand - or, in fact, this Wednesday coming if I haven't got my job back in the current re-structure... :doh:

    Hi Dave !
    Just for the record I have had 6 Bretby vase lamps but only have one left , the black one with hand painted flowers front and back ! Its in the lamp gallery !

    I no longer need to keep everything that I find !

    Some collector's houses I have been too, I am not looking at their collection's , I'm looking at a disease !! they just can't help themselves , they have to have everything , its more of an addiction - got to keep buying lamps !!!

    Got to keep buying lamps !
