I am considering this lamp. I just want to be sure everything is original and complete. My understanding is that until recently only frosted artichoke shades were considered original and the glossy ones reproduction. Any help would be appreciated. Thank you.
That lamp requires a separate pump and all old lamps require fettling, that is a fine looking shade, but I do not know whether it's original or not.
That shade looks a legit Sunshine shade to me. I have one that I know belonged to the lamp from new and your one looks exactly like it. The above lamp dates beginning roughly from the mid '20's. I suspect it will be stamped on the base plate.
