I haven't been on this site for a while, due to moving house, etc., etc.,. I remember a post about making a stainless steel mantle for a R1 from a sieve and a golf ball. Can't find it now! Any pointers please, guys?

Thanks, Christer, believe me, I did try several "simple searches", using several keywords but, nothing came up! I would not have even considered asking for help, if I had not done so first. Thanks, again, anyway.

You're very welcome. I'm just glad to be able to help.
And for the record I didn't try to imply anything with the expression "simple search".
It was just said without any values in it since it actually just was as simple search as I see it.

Searching is easy, but I guess it's not that easy if you don't know the basics of it.
Like in your case it's good to type in a few words you are certain has been used in the topic in question.

    E.g. golf, ball and stainless.
For the boolean search you just need to add a + before each word you want to be included, also the very first one, giving you:
    +golf +ball +stainless
And the space after each word is also important.
And you must also not forget to change the period of your search to be longer than the last year. It's made by changing the default "a year ago" under "Match posts made" to read "On any date".

I don't know why that "a year ago" is set as default.
I actually think that is one of the major culprits to why people is un-succesful in finding what they search for since it's so easy to miss that little change of search criteria...
Might be worth looking in to. :-k

Well spotted Jeff. There's both the sieve and the golf ball.
