Thanks to excellent machining by @ROBBO55, this not-Gloria lamp is next cab off the rank while I finish manufacturing the grate for my Gloria 2-burner stove. The lamp came with my Gloria pile. It’s not common. It is in rather sad shape because somewhere in the past the hanger (originally held in by 4 weld spots) came apart from the lamp and it fell to the floor. There’s a bit of realigning to do. Martin’s Handi work: Cheers Tony
Not a Gloria, but it was in the Gloria pile and is well worth restoring. It’s got a few dings but it should clean up well. I’m reconfiguring the shed/workshop so I need a relatively straightforward lamp to work on. Cheers Tony
Too cold in the shed tonight Bob... Tomorrow for the shades. Funny thing is, I’ve got three matching Coleman shades for this lamp, all of which are different weights! I might have to hide a bit of lead in the system to make it hang straight. Cheers Tony @Lamp Doctor
... somehow I didn’t upload the photos: There’s a good piece of Australian pressure lamp history in there. Cheers Tony
Not related to the above post. But straight out of the Gloria pile (but not a Gloria). I’m very happy that I’ve got this rather uncommon beast working! Cheers Tony
