Hi Aldo, Those Primus globes are almost impossible to find, even in Sweden, I am told. But if you do find a supplier, please let us know, as a number of collectors here would be very interested. I need at least two for my own lamps.
Strange with the market beeing the way it is that not vestas or other company dont make spare globes..
Why not ask John Moncrieff if they'd consider reproducing them. You'd need to send a sample, though...
I wouldn´t think so........Had a deal going with Moncrieff two years ago with a batch of 25 globes for the Lux DH/Primus 1005 lamps. Negotiated for a month and price was set and suddenly they withdraw their offer, said they couldn´t do it. Change of management maybe, but not funny spending many hours for that deal to go through. I managed later to get the globes made in co-operation with a glass mould maker and glass blower here in Sweden. Reproduction globes for the 992 have earlier been made by and for Swedish collectors and original Primus globe/shade drawings are known to exist. /Conny
