I have been asked to post these photos for your enjoyment.
The owner says it is the original wooden box and the envelope with what was in it.
I found some information on the Internet, including the first photo below, .... HERE
    And this text:

What an interesting item - but does it roast your coffee?

Jean, I don't have it. I was asked to post the photos by a non-member.

This is really a nice lamp. I wanted one for a long time and I almost bought one for a couple of months ago.
Unfortunately they are so specialized that it requires some equipment to really enjoy them. James came up with the lamp I nealy bought my self some days ago:

We need to see more of these here in CPL's gallery and it would be awesome to see more Pictures of this fine norwegian one you came over here, though your first Photos is already nice. It also nice for once the be able to read the paper on my "own" language.
Btw the text recomend this lamp for travelling lecturers and promiss the light is much brighter than acetylen-light (carbidelamps).
    Thanks for sharing.

I have seen a few similar lamps and I have a barthel model 524 Mita here. They are rare beasts. I would very much like a scan of the paper from this one if possible please. ::Neil::
