I saw a listing for this Coleman lantern which I will post pictures below. It possibly looks like an early 220? model, but the date format on the bottom of the fount is what makes me curious if it is an early military model. It says US 1944. I know the reflector was added later most likely.

    Any ideas?

    Thanks!
    Andrew

    Update:
I messaged the seller, asking him to show me a picture of the Coleman logo. He returned my message and informed me that upon further inspection, he does not see a Coleman logo or inscription on the lantern, so he made a mistake.

With that said, what lantern do you think this one might be?

Thank you. I thought it could have been from another military contractor.

It looks to be in rough shape, but I may send a low ball offer to see if he will accept. It could be a good restoration project.
