Hello all, time to have a fire as the weather gets colder here in Australia.
Not a bad night it's 14 degrees no wind. What's a fire without some Tilley lamps to top of the night and listen to the lamps hissing and the fire cracking away.
So we have 3 Tilley lamps PL53, TL106 table lamp and a X246A for company.
    Here are some money shots.
Thanks if you looked at my shots, and if you didn't that's fine too.

Looks good. I have two PL53's both missing the uppers. One day hopefully I'll either get the parts or find a complete one.

@Andrew T Yes the PL53 are my favourite Tilley lamp thanks.
Good luck you never know, also you can get aftermarket parts from Julian's shaw in the UK.

@Fireexit1 That's a good point you make there mate. Lucky for me I live in Australia, as I dislike the cold.

Hello all, here are some more photos from last night's fire. It was a very comfortable evening no wind at all and probably not even cold enough for a fire. I do love to sit there and get enthralled by the flames and listen to the hissing of the lamps, its so relaxing beside all that any excuse for a light up right?
This time we have: Coleman Table Lamp 159X, Tilley PL53, Tilley TL106 Table Lamp and a Tilley EX100.

That does look nice..the lamps look fab!
I agree about the fire thing.. the way the air passing through plays on the glowing embers and before you know it, it’s time for another log to go on.. and another cup of tea.. also if theres no wind you don’t get it in the face, your eyes streaming and later you realise everything smells of kippers :) I still kind of like that tho :-)
