Don't you have the Petromax tool? At handle end the narrower distance is for 250cp and wider for 350/500cp (14,2mm). For 150cp it's 7mm. Here kuva/fig. 7 shows the "distance scale" in Petromax tool: http://www.pelam.de/articles.php?tPath=22_36&language=en

Also by iterating from those two measures I would guess that something like 10mm could be ok for 250cp.

Thank you, I found that it would be 12mm, I have that set so I test if it works.

I don't have that tool. I just use vernier caliper.

    Ok & no worries!

I got home and measured that distance from that tool (I think Chinese copy) and it was 13mm. Tool looked average quality tool to that part of the tool was not in very measurement equipment looking.

Maybe that measure is not so VERY critical. I measured my 150cp Geniol and distance was 9mm. That lantern has worked fine with that distance. I had one unused Optimus 200 and in that lantern that distance was 16mm. I am not sure if that would be ok since I have never used that unfired Optimus.

I'll PT you the place where you can get that tool "locally".
