My doorway greetings

    This is what greets you at my place.
    there is about 100 items tucked away in there all brands etc .
    Hope you enjoy the other 60 restored items are in here about the house to.
    In answer where did you get them been collecting here for about 5 years now still plenty to find to still .

    Gda'y Lampdoctor, nice collection of lamps you have there, :) i think you are a fewwwwwww ahead of me, :lol: what got you started on the lamp addiction, it is always interesting to hear how people got into the lamp hobby, :?: regards Frank

    Have been a collector of all things
    since i was about 14 never threw stuff out
    have many different collections of stuff
    All it was my mate bought a pressure lamp and I followed .The rest is history now still collecting .
    I did have a few wick lamps before this to . :lol:
    Have about 160 restored stuff the other 240 awaiting restoration or spares etc .

    great stuff, thanks for sharing that with us, myself, i had a old Tilley Guardsman that i bought for camping in the mid eighties, it sat with a broken burner in the shed for years, my son found a old one that i used to restore it, that got me interested in looking to see what other kinds were made, have about thirty good lamps, many others waiting for work, would be great to hear from other lampies as how they got interested in lamps, here is the same trusty old Tilley, regards Frank

    While us Aussies are at it I have collected various things for years,
    Lamps started about 2005 when I decided to get a 246 Pork Pie.
    As a child we lived in a split log Settlers house and remember one being lit every evenig as our main light.
    Here are some of my pressure lamps in June 2006 they have somewhat multipled since.

    Ive always loved lanterns, been seriously collecting for 5 or so years. Got right about 200 now

    Hello oldlantern man, sounds like you get around the odd flee market or two, having around 200 in five years is reasonably serious,in my collection i have a few Coleman and one Sunflame kero,occasionally the sunflame show up in OZ, happy collecting, :content: regards Frank
