I got the Optimus 350 for a very reasonable price. The lamp was a little dirty, I cleaned and checked the gaskets, it seems to me that nothing needs to be changed. I pumped the lamp up to 1 kg/cm 5 hours ago and the pressure hasn't changed. Do you think the lamp has ever been turned on? What is the approximate year of manufacture of the lamp?

Congrats on a great and classic workhorse - judging by your pics, it hasn’t been used - yet 8]

    I would be guessing late 1950’ies - 1960’ies by the torch-starter.

Your Optimus 1350 is from the late 60s or most of the 70s. It has not been lit before. If you want to keep this one unused, there are plenty of used ones around (in DK). They were used by both the civil defence and the military (again in DK).

Thanks Nils, I plan to keep it unused. I don't see many similar lamps for a reasonable price in Denmark, but I'll keep looking.
