    Hi!
This is an ORIGINAL AIDA 1500, 500CP lamp made by LEGO Germany. it was given to my great-grandfather by a senior civil servant during colonization. I come to this forum, because the label on the lamp and different from everything I see. She must be really special. Who can tell me more?

Never heard of such a lantern.
What you have is an incomplete Aida lantern in bad condition possibly made by Graetz in the 1950s.

I understand. It is precisely this rarity that intrigues me. The label is really different "Original AIDA Record" and not "AIDA express Record". Why is this version so rare? People offer me sums between 100 and 200€, strange for such an old object.

This is not a rare lantern and is is in a really bad condition with many parts missing.
We do not do any "values" here, please respect this board rule.

Sorry if I was clumsy in giving numbers. My intention is only to find out more. because no research leads me to this model. Maybe knowing what it is made of would help me. Unless it's against forum policy.

Hello Franck and welcome. Your lantern is made mostly of brass. The "express" on the label means that the lantern is fitted with a rapid preheater as can be seen to the left of the control wheel on this lantern
AIDA Express 1500 Record Your lantern does not have this feature.

Where on the lantern does it say that it is made by LEGO?

Is it special to you because it was your great grandfather's ?

If you wish to make it complete, have a look here Petromax Spares Price List
you will need parts P117 and 123, it should be possible to straighten the frame but if you can't manage it you will also need 121. To make it work you will need parts 11, 17, 46, 83, 90 and mantles e.g. BC 4/500 or 3777. Also, most probably 50/5 and 68/5. The wire mesh will protect the mantle but to be correct it needs a glass chimney e.g. 74.

If you wish to restore it to its former glory, here's a "how to" guide, https://classicpressurelamps.com/attachments/px-rest-pdf.57117/

If it's all too much for you, take what you can get for it.

For 200euro I would not hesitate to sell this version.
Like said nothing special and very incomplete. Original AIDA marked parts are not stock parts and would cost a small fortune to get to Cameroon for central Europe.

Thanks for your details. but it's not "Lego" (misread) but rather "registed in abbreviated REGD. I just thought the materials were copper or silver 925 or 800.
