    What a gem and smaragd-green too :D/
This should run on kerrosene, is to be preheated by spirit and deliver 200 cp.

Hello,i recently got myself a lamp just like this one. My glass has "baby" text in it and whole lamp is in good condition, at the bottom there`s numbers:143. Can anyone give info about it ?

    Welcome to the forum Kruggerand.
Can you post some pictures and where did you find the lantern ?
Just to know where they "all" went. Make sure the steel tank is kept dry. Stamp may indicate jan 1943 but that is a guess.
Did you fire it up already ?

Thank you. I found it from "army junkyard" couple of years ago here in Finland, i emptied the tank witch had some fuel inside. I only examined it recently and got exited about it cos i think it`s really fine object, gonna try to make it work in couple of weeks time in my summerhouse. I only have one foto of it at the moment and will post it soon, more to come.

Now that looks in great condotion. I would change the globe for a more recent one, to keep this one in good condition.

Thank`s, the part where mantle is tied is marked 200/250. Not sure witch one would be most suitable to use. I post more foto`s later.

You should use a single tie mantle for 200 - 300 HK, since this lantern is rated 200HK. You can easily obtain them (at least here in Germany).

Again, from my side congrats to your find. Take care of it, they are not often found, and nearly never in such good condition.
